How we test. every test starts with a real account, put an amount in via Bancontact, pull the money out and time the whole route. White or black: we look the operator up at the Gaming Commission and read the bonus terms line by line.
What the law imposes
Belgium regulates player protection above the European average in strictness with effects you cannot route around. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200. Reducing it needs no waiting time, adjusting upwards follows a check and a term.
The EPIS system is the regulator's central exclusion list: the block covers every licence holder in the country. Unlicensed sites are not connected to it. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. Age is verified at registration.
