On payments, Belgium leaves little choice: bancontact and Bancontact Pay cover nearly every deposit, with a bank transfer as the only way out. Bancontact Pay is the name the Payconiq app has carried since March 2026.
Bancontact Pay limits to €1500 per operation and €2500 per 24 hours. The money is available at once; withdrawing takes as a rule one to three banking days, plus the time the operator itself takes to process the request.
What is asked at registration
Signing up looks roughly the same on every site: correct personal details and an identity check ahead of the first payout. Have your identity card and a recent address document ready. Depositing under a name other than the account holder's causes delay.
Support here usually runs in English, and a complaint cannot reach the Gaming Commission. Document your deposits yourself, even if the site does too; they are your only foothold if things go wrong.

What the law imposes
The Belgian legislator approaches player protection more tightly than the Netherlands or France and you feel it on the first deposit. On any licensed site the weekly limit defaults to €200. Lowering it is immediate, upwards, a review and a delay apply.
The EPIS system is the regulator's central exclusion list: one registration excludes you at once from every licensed operator, online and on-site. Reversing it is not immediate. The age bar moved on 1 September 2024 from 18 to 21 for casino, hall and betting; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. The check is automatic.
